I REVISITED MY 2013 UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA DESIGN AND GAVE IT A MODERN UPDATE. THE GOAL OF THIS UNIFORM WAS TO CREATE A SENSE OF MOVEMENT BY GRADUALLY TRANSITIONING COLORS, GUIDING THE EYE THROUGH THE DESIGN AND HIGHLIGHTING ITS KEY FEATURES.
THE FIRST STEP WAS REFINING THE SLEEVE GRADIENT BY GRADUALLY REDUCING THE WEIGHT OF THE COLOR BARS AS THEY ASCEND. THIS ADJUSTMENT ENHANCES THE SENSE OF MOVEMENT, CREATING A SMOOTHER, MORE DYNAMIC TRANSITION INTO THE BODY.
REVERTED TO THE TUCSON FONT, INCORPORATING A GRADIENT KISS-CUT TRANSITION FROM THE BODY COLOR INTO THE WORDMARK FOR A SEAMLESS BLEND.
INCREASED THE SIZE OF THE WORDMARK FOR A BOLDER, MORE IMPACTFUL READ, WHICH ALSO PUNCTUATES THE GRADIENT AS IT FLOWS THROUGH THE NUMBER.
