In my early years at Nike, I had the incredible opportunity to create material and color packages for Air Jordans dedicated to my alma mater, the University of Oregon. What began with the Air Jordan 9 quickly gained momentum, leading to two Air Jordan 3 colorways the following year, a Jordan 4 the year after, and a Jordan 5 in my final year.At the time, these projects served as a catalyst for merging sneaker culture with collegiate-centric design—something that has now become standard across the landscape, with Jordan Brand expanding into schools beyond its historic partnerships with UNC and Georgetown.During this period, I also created the Jumpduck logo, depicting the Oregon Duck mascot in the iconic Jumpman pose. In this latest iteration, I made a few refinements and explored what this project could have looked like had footwear and packaging been fully developed. Each box corresponds to the Air Jordan packaging for its respective model, reimagined with custom Oregon Duck graphics to round out the vision.
